Florida Atlantic University and Palm Beach County have entered into a collaborative partnership designed to align academic excellence with the workforce needs of the public sector.

Through a newly established Memorandum of Understanding, this partnership will strengthen the regional talent pipeline, support economic development, and create expanded career opportunities for students across the region.

To commemorate this agreement, and in honor of the 60th anniversary of the Florida Atlantic University Career Center, the Board of County Commissioners of Palm Beach County issued an official proclamation recognizing March 3 as "Florida Atlantic University Career Center Day."

"For six decades, the Career Center has been connecting FAU students with meaningful career pathways, and we continue to partner with employers to meet the evolving workforce demands," said FAU President Adam Hasner. "We're honored that Palm Beach County recognizes our contributions through this proclamation of FAU Career Center Day."

The partnership between Palm Beach County and the FAU Career Center will focus on recruitment integration, skill alignment and professional development. Key efforts will include expanded experiential learning, coordinated information sharing and joint promotional initiatives, all aimed at supporting FAU graduates as they transition into local employment and strengthen the region's long-term workforce.
