This patent-pending software is the first commercial package to accurately characterize ring-core-shaped beams using industry-standard beam profiling methods. Designed for use in industrial applications, including laser welding and additive manufacturing (selective laser melting), Ophir Ring-Core BeamGage software is based on Ophir BeamGage Professional, the industry's most advanced beam analysis software. The new software includes all the calculations needed to make accurate laser beam measurements. Ring-core features include Polar Chart, which enables precise alignment and adjustment between the ring and core, as well as measurement of key parameters such as ring-to-core offset, power ratio, gap size, diameters, and centroids. Ophir Ring-Core BeamGage software is compatible with most Ophir beam profiling cameras and provides real-time combined and separate measurements of the ring and core laser profiles.
