LEWISTOWN, PA - Geisinger announced today the purchase of the Bobby Rahal Automotive Group property in Lewistown, effective Feb. 17. The property is located along Electric Avenue and sits directly beside Geisinger Lewistown Hospital, positioning it as a strategic asset for future growth.
"While we don't have many formal plans in place yet, this property opens the door to future opportunities for our patients and teams," said AJ Hartsock, associate vice president of operations at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital. "In the immediate term, the space will provide much needed additional parking, helping ease daily access to the hospital."
The acquisition supports Geisinger's ongoing efforts to improve the overall experience for patients, visitors and employees by creating more accessible and functional spaces across the campus.
Geisinger extends its appreciation to the teams at Bobby Rahal for their partnership throughout the process. Their collaboration ensured a smooth and seamless transition of the property.
