Media Advisory: San José Welcomes Summer with Free Community Concerts on Make Music Day
Make Music Day celebrates music in all its forms, encouraging professional and amateur musicians to come together and play in free public concerts.
Held annually on June 21 to coincide with the summer solstice, Make Music Day is part of the international Fête de la Musique taking place in more than 1,000 cities across 120 countries. Since 2017, the City of San José's Office of Economic Development and Cultural Affairs has led the local edition, Make Music San José.
