The Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) will host a This Is Public Health® (TIPH) Graduate School Fair and Ask the Experts session in Chicago on Thursday, September 25, 2025. The evening begins with Ask the Experts: Careers & Leadership in Public Health from 4:00-5:00 PM CT, followed by the Graduate School Fair from 5:30-7:30 PM CT, co-sponsored by the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) School of Public Health.
Both the Ask the Experts session and Graduate School Fair will give prospective students the chance to connect with CEPH-accredited schools and programs, explore graduate education in public health, and gain valuable insights into both the application process and future career pathways.
Attendees will also meet the SOPHAS team, which runs the centralized application service for public health programs, and learn how different programs align with their academic and career goals.
Speakers in the Ask the Experts session include Kiran Joshi, MD, MPH, of the Cook County Department of Public Health; Crystal Pirtle Tyler, PhD, MPH, of the Illinois Public Health Institute; Fikirte Wagaw, MPH, of the Chicago Department of Public Health; Lamar Hasbrouck, MD, MPH, MBA, of DLM LLC; and moderator Dean Wayne Giles, MD, MS, of the UIC School of Public Health.
Registration is free for both students and exhibitors.
