Centennial Park trail closures for Grit MTB Festival

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - As part of this week's Grit MTB Festival, trails at Centennial Park will be closed to the public Friday, Sept. 27, through Sunday, Sept. 29.

The three-day mountain biking festival is for riders of all abilities and backgrounds who are transgender men and women, cisgender women and nonbinary. Founded in 2019, the event raises money annually for All Bikes Welcome, a nonprofit organization with a mission of creating more racial and gender diversity in cycling.

The event will take place Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but park trails will remain open on Thursday while the event setup is taking place.

Centennial Park at Millsap Mountain is a cycling-activated park with state-of-the-art cyclo-cross and mountain biking facilities. To learn more about Centennial Park, visit: https://www.fayetteville-ar.gov/3671/Centennial-Park-at-Millsap-Mountain.
