After leaving New York City, he built a world around antiques, a Maine bed-and-breakfast, and a growing social following rooted in timeless design and storytelling."For me, pride on TikTok is about creating a community where everyone feels included, its about revelling in the simple joy of living, and showing people that being 100% yourself is always something worth celebrating. When I posted my first TikTok video a year ago, I never could've imagined that I would get to connect with such a large community of people who all share the same values and interests - it's truly the most incredible thing I have ever experienced." - Alexander@asantemadrigal (Los Angeles, CA): Asante Madrigal is a pop culture creator and host known for shaping conversations around entertainment, internet culture, and the creator industry through a fresh Gen Z lens. From attending major events like the Grammys, Oscars, AMAs, and movie premieres to interviewing stars like Pedro Pascal, Snoop Dogg, Dwyane Wade, and casts from hit shows like The Boys, Asante brings audiences behind the scenes of today's biggest cultural moments while building a space for authentic, personality-driven entertainment coverage."Pride on TikTok has meant being able to fully express myself while connecting with people who relate to my perspective, creativity, and love for entertainment....I love being able to bring my POV authentically to whatever I'm passionate about alongside such a supportive audience. Finding community on TikTok honestly changed my life. I started by casually talking about pop culture, and over time I found people who connected with not just my content, but also my personality, perspective, and experiences and I've even made real life friendships through it all. From making videos in my room six years ago to now attending events like the Grammys, Oscars, and AMAs, while interviewing some of the biggest names in entertainment still feels surreal. Through consistency, an amazing support system, and being unapologetically myself, I've been able to turn something I genuinely love into a career and platform I'm really proud of." - Asante@daddyjai09 (Hobbs, New Mexico): Jai is a dad of five whose content blends family life with his love for cooking and serving up relatable moments on LIVE. His warm, down-to-earth style has turned everyday parenting and kitchen creativity into a vibrant community."Pride is so important because everyone deserves to feel celebrated and proud of who they are! I have found a community on TikTok of people who have chosen to follow along and have accepted me for who I am and what I represent! I want to provide a safe space for all who join my LIVEs to feel love and feel inspired, and to learn something new or escape the crazy world. I want other LGBTQ+ individuals to see my page and have hope that they too can have the life they always dreamed of. We all deserve to live a life full of love and happiness." - Jai@how_did_this_get_here (Montreal, QC...for now): Known by many for their love of women's sports and for their dad, Richard, becoming the (un)official dad of the 2026 Olympic games at the US-Canada women's hockey game, Beks' journey has recently brought them (and their Subaru) to Canada, where they have been dubbed by many as an honourary Canadian. Since coming to Canada in March of 2026, Beks has taken their community along for the ride as they discover Canadian food and shops. Whether through their love of women's sports or building human connection as they travel around, Beks' content is underpinned by the pursuit of queer joy, resilience, and a passion for building community."Pride on TikTok means being able to show up fully as myself while connecting with an incredible community that makes me feel seen, supported, and celebrated. I've loved building genuine connections through my content and engaging with people in the comments. TikTok has given me a space to share my journey, find community, and connect with others in such a meaningful way." - Beks@itsshannonburns (Toronto, ON): Shannon Burns is a national radio host and content creator based in Toronto, offering an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at life alongside celebrities. With a sharp eye for pop culture, she delivers insightful commentary while fostering connection and representation within the LGBTQ+ community."Pride on TikTok means so much to me because it has allowed me to connect with an incredible LGBTQ+ community and realize how many people around the world have shared similar experiences to my own. Through sharing my life, pop culture content, and personal experiences, I've been able to build genuine connections and create a space where people feel supported, seen, and accepted for exactly who they are." - Shannon@jackandbec (San Antonio, TX): Jack and Bec are sister artists, illustrators, and designers creating bold, colorful art inspired by body positivity, Deaf pride, LGBTQ+ joy, internet culture, and everyday life. Their work blends bold illustration, uplifting storytelling, and pop culture chaos into pieces that make people feel seen, hyped, and a little more like themselves."Pride on TikTok means showing up as our loud, colorful selves, making art we care about, and connecting with people that just get it! TikTok been such a fun way to build community and share what we're creating." - Jack & Bec@oatmilklady (Montreal, QC): Oat Milk Lady is a Queer-owned Canadian art brand founded by Billy, a full-time illustrator and visual poet whose mixed media and digital work focuses on the deterioration of relationships, experiences of gender dysphoria, and the stages of grief and vulnerability that follow. Oat Milk Lady offers art prints, stickers and apparel that explore representation, reclaiming identity and healing."Pride on TikTok means continuing to show up authentically. For me, this app has changed my life's direction completely, functioning as a place to connect with new hearts, cultivate friendships with other queer artists, and build my business to the point of being fully self-employed. From when I first started figuring out my gender identity, TikTok has been a space where I've been able to create a life for myself by sharing my feelings and connecting with people who felt similarly, and over the years we have been able to grow alongside each other. I am so lucky to have built a community here for those that may often feel unseen." - Billy@theraymondsalgado (Vancouver Island, BC): Filipino-Canadian singer-songwriter and storyteller who uses his voice to help people feel seen and less alone. Raymond's built an engaged community sharing viral vocal covers, well known for standout musical performances and appearances on shows like Canada's Got Talent, which have drawn praise from artists like Sam Smith. His platform is a reflection of queer joy and living authentically, a space where he proudly proclaims, "My teeth are straight, but I'm not.""TikTok has allowed me to turn my passion for music into a community built on love, acceptance, and real connection.
