On February 24, 2026 the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus hosted a meeting of the Belarusian side of the Belarusian-Omani Intergovernmental Committee on Cooperation and Investment under the chairmanship of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maxim Ryzhenkov.
Representatives from relevant Belarusian ministries, agencies, and organizations discussed the current status of bilateral cooperation with Oman in the fields of agriculture, industry, logistics, healthcare, culture, tourism, information and communication technologies, and other sectors.
Special emphasis was placed on the implementation of high-level agreements and the Roadmap for Cooperation between Belarus and Oman for 2026-2027, which was signed on October 6-7, 2025, during the Sultan of Oman's visit to Belarus.
To fulfill the objectives set by the Head of State, the participants formulated proposals for specific measures to enhance bilateral cooperation. These proposals will be coordinated with the Omani side during the upcoming 1st meeting of the Joint Committee on Cooperation and Investment between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Sultanate of Oman.
