Chinese Consul General in Erbil Liu Jun Holds Discussion with China-Aid Training Participants in Sulaimani

On 13 January 2026, Consul General Mr. Liu Jun visited the Sulaimani campus of Tishk International University, where he met with University President Prof. Dr. Khidir Masum Hawrami and held discussions with faculty representatives who had previously participated in China-aid training programs. Consul Zou Demin was also present.

Faculty representatives shared their experiences and learning outcomes from their training programs in China. After listening to their presentations, Consul General Liu noted that China provides training programs for developing countries, including Iraq, with a focus on sharing development experience and enhancing capacity-building. He emphasized that this approach reflects China's commitment to the vision of a community with a shared future for mankind. He encouraged participants to take the training as an opportunity to apply China's experience in their professional and teaching work, and to contribute to local development.
