Amtrak Expands Flex Dining Options for Lunch and Dinner on Five Long Distance Trains

Amtrak Long Distance Sleeping Car guests can now enjoy an expanded Flex Dining menu with the introduction of new lunch options for an improved and more delicious onboard experience. The new menu items allow guests greater choice between these lighter meals or the existing, heartier entrees, doubling their options after previously having shared offerings for both lunch and dinner.

What to Order: The new lunch offerings, which are served with a side of chips or a dinner roll, introduce select, popular items from Amtrak's National Cafe menu to the Dining Car. This includes fresh items like a Turkey & Cheddar Sub on a multigrain roll, a Ham & Swiss Sandwich on a pretzel roll with honey mustard, and a Fresh Greek Salad with feta cheese and balsamic vinaigrette dressing, as well as the fan-favorite classic Angus Cheeseburger and All-Beef Hot Dog.

Routes: Amtrak has five Long Distance trains that offer Flex Dining for its guests across its National Network, including:

Flex Dining offers guests the flexibility to eat at a time that suits them, whether that's in the dining car or by having their meal delivered to their room by an attendant. Check out the new menus and learn more here. We look forward to seeing you onboard and digging into our new meals.
