HARRISBURG - Rep. Thomas Kutz (R-Cumberland) was sworn-in to serve his second term as state representative for the 87th District on Tuesday. Upon taking the oath of office, he was assigned to serve on several key committees.
For the 2025-26 session, Kutz will serve on the House Appropriations; Consumer Protection, Technology and Utilities; Finance; Insurance; Rules; and Intergovernmental Affairs and Operations committees.
Kutz brings valuable experience to these committees. Last session, he served on the House Appropriations and Finance committees, and he also previously worked on tax policy in Congress for the House Committee on Ways and Means.
"My legislative priorities for this session can be distilled into one idea-making Pennsylvania and Cumberland County better places to live, work and raise a family," said Kutz. "I'm excited to work through these committees to put policy ideas into motion to reach that goal.
"I'm also grateful to receive these key appointments at such a pivotal time for our Commonwealth. I look forward to working with colleagues and stakeholders to advocate for thoughtful policy updates that address major issues that impact the lives of our constituents."
The 87th District, which Kutz represents, includes Silver Spring, Monroe, South Middleton, Upper Allen and Lower Allen townships, as well as Mount Holly Springs Borough.
Questions about these appointments can be directed to Kutz's office at 717-975-2235.
