On the First Day of Early Voting in VA, DNC Chair Martin Slams Earle-Sears for Rallying With DOGE Co-Founder Vivek Ramaswamy Arrow

DOGE has led to 32,000 Virginians losing their jobs

Tonight, on the first day of early voting in Virginia, Republican Virginia Gubernatorial candidate Winsome Earle-Sears will join one of DOGE's chief architects on the stage at her campaign rally - despite the fact that Vivek Ramaswamy's DOGE efforts have literally destroyed thousands of jobs across Northern Virginia.

Just today, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics released new unemployment data, which shows that in Virginia, the unemployment rate skyrocketed to 3.6%, a 0.6% increase since Trump took office.

By the end of the year, over 32,000 hard-working Virginians will have lost their jobs, often for no reason, because of these DOGE cuts.

In response to Earle-Sears rallying with DOGE co-founder Vivek Ramaswamy, DNC Chair Ken Martin released the following statement:

"Tonight, Winsome Earle-Sears is letting the fox into the hen house once again as she takes the stage with billionaire DOGE co-founder Vivek Ramaswamy, whose actions have led to thousands of hard-working Virginians losing their jobs. These are 32,000 of our neighbors - hardworking Virginians who didn't deserve to lose their livelihoods. For anyone paying attention, it should come as no surprise that Earle-Sears will always choose the side of billionaires like Ramaswamy, Musk, and Trump over the needs of Virginians who actually work for a living. As Virginians head to the polls starting today, Democrats are all-in fighting for Abigail Spanberger and Virginia Democrats down the ballot who will lower costs and create jobs for Virginia families. Virginians deserve a real fighter in Richmond, not another Trump puppet."
