Rep. Crank Joins Chairman Westerman at Hot Springs National Park to Support the Bipartisan Great American Outdoors Act 250

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- On Friday, Representative Jeff Crank (CO-05) joined House Natural Resources Committee Chairman Bruce Westerman, Ranking Member Jared Huffman, and Members of the Committee at the Hot Springs National Park in Hot Springs, Arkansas, at a Field Hearing to discuss the bipartisan Great American Outdoors Act 250 (GAOA 250).

The GAOA 250 invests $1.9 billion annually in America's national parks, public lands, and Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) facilities over each of the next five years. Funded by private donations, onshore energy revenue, and new foreign visitor fees, GAOA 250 enhances access, invests in some of our nation's most treasured assets, and more.

"Colorado is home to multiple national parks, many of which have significant infrastructure needs driven by heavy visitation," said Rep. Crank. "It is critical that we maintain these national treasures for the public's benefit and use, which is why I am proud to cosponsor the bipartisan Great American Outdoors Act 250, ahead of our nation's 250th birthday.

"I was honored to join Chairman Westerman in his district at the Hot Springs National Park for a Field Hearing to discuss how the GAOA 250 will increase access, improve recreation, and ensure that our nation's lands can be used to the fullest extent for generations to come."
