Oct 24, 2025

A construction helicopter, or heli-crane, will be used to assist with the installation of new light poles atop the Peters Parking Deck on Wednesday, Oct. 29. The poles will be assembled on the deck and then lifted into place by the helicopter. When one pole is installed, the helicopter will move to the next pole for a total of 12 poles. Helicopter activity will occur during the entire time frame.

Flaggers will be on site to manage traffic and pedestrian flow on the roads surrounding the deck.

Full parking access will resume at the conclusion of the installation.

Light rain will not affect the project. Should anything change, information will be updated.

Thank you for your cooperation as we implement this campus improvement project.
