Arthur D. Little (ADL) today announced the appointment of Dr.-Ing. Claus Gruber as a Partner in its Automotive & Manufactured Goods (AMG) practice. Based in the Munich office, Claus brings over 20 years of experience spanning the automotive, telecom and technology sectors. He specializes in the convergence of automotive and digital, with a focus on areas such as high-tech innovation and growth strategy, R&D efficiency, software, and autonomous driving.
Claus joins from Strategy&, where he was Senior Director and Head of Strategy&'s Automotive Software and Co-Head of Strategy&'s Interim Management and Task Force Support Group. His experience spans consultancy (including Detecon Consulting and Booz & Company), industry (Siemens and Nokia Siemens Networks), and founding two software companies (Layonics and Contaction). During his career, he worked on four continents and has led strategy projects around product innovation, technology alliances and M&A, operational projects around R&D efficiency, risk and cost management, software-defined vehicle platforms, regulatory compliance, and supply chain resilience, and supported Automotive OEMs and suppliers in achieving crucial product launches in task force and interim management roles.
