Fort Worth Municipal Court will observe Municipal Court Week Nov. 3-7.
This year's theme: Celebrating a Century of Service 1924-2024.
Court Director William Rumuly said: "Municipal courts are the closest level to the community and handle more cases than all other courts combined in the State of Texas. It is essential to a free and just society. Municipal Courts Week is an excellent opportunity to highlight and celebrate the important work the staff does every day to serve this great community."
Opening ceremony. The opening ceremony for Municipal Courts Week will be 8-8:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 3, in the first-floor lobby of the A.D. Marshall Municipal Court Building, 1000 Throckmorton St. Judges and court staff will provide comments during the ceremony.
Food truck alley. To support local businesses, food trucks will be available Tuesday, Nov. 4, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Look for the trucks on the west side of City Hall along Forest Park Boulevard. The court will be closed to the public from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Participating food vendors:
