Albanian Special Forces train side by side with U.S. Special Forces

At the Zall Herr training area, within the tactical village of the Special Operations Regiment, Albanian Special Forces operators conducted an intensive training programme throughout the month under the supervision of instructors from the United States of America Special Forces.

At the conclusion of the training, a complex exercise was carried out, during which Albanian Special Forces, in cooperation with their U.S. counterparts, planned and executed a target strike behind enemy lines.

During the exercise, Special Forces operators infiltrated the area of operations, conducted the objective strike, and simulated the provision of first aid in a combat environment. The operation concluded with the successful exfiltration of the operators from the area of operations.

The exercise demonstrated the high level of professionalism of the Albanian Special Forces in conducting high-risk operations in dynamic and contested environments.

The training, known as "Close Quarters Battle (CQB)," was conducted in a complex terrain and focused on tactical movement through coordinated team actions, rapid response, effective weapons handling, and stealth operations. It further strengthened the unit's ability to operate undetected, identify and neutralise threats, and maintain operational effectiveness. The training aimed to enhance operational readiness, precision, and interoperability in support of modern special operations missions, guided by the principle that no one is left behind.

The training conducted at the Special Operations Regiment reflects the continuous and close cooperation between Albanian and U.S. Special Forces, as reliable partners sharing the same operational standards and combat capabilities.
