The Public Engagement Project (PEP) will offer a virtual informational session on Nov. 4 for UMass research active faculty and lecturers interested in applying for the 2026 PEP Fellowship.

PEP Fellowships help amplify the impact of academic scholarship by teaching how to effectively communicate research to the general public. PEP Fellowship Director Lisa Troy and former PEP fellows will participate in the informational session, to be held via Zoom from noon-1 p.m., to discuss the fellowship and what faculty members can gain from the experience.

Applications for the 2026 PEP Fellowship are now being accepted, with a deadline for submission set for Tuesday, Dec. 2.

For more information about PEP and the fellowship, or to register to attend the virtual informational session, visit the PEP website.
