Prime Minister Rama and European Commission President Von der Leyen to Open the EU–Western Balkans

Investment Forum On Monday, October 13, Prime Minister Edi Rama will host the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, who will be in Tirana in the framework of the EU-Western Balkans Investment Forum.

Following the welcoming ceremony, Prime Minister Rama and President von der Leyen will hold a meeting at the Prime Minister's Office, after which they will deliver a joint press conference for the attending media. Subsequently, at the Palace of Congresses, the EU-Western Balkans Investment Forum will be officially opened, where Prime Minister Rama and Commission President Ursula von der Leyen will deliver welcoming remarks.

The signing ceremony of the Letters of Intent (LOIs), which precede future agreements in areas of mutual interest, will follow on the first day's agenda. The Forum's discussions are structured into two main panels: "Investment Opportunities in the Western Balkans 6 in the New Geopolitical Context" and "Investments in the Western Balkans 6 as a New Source of Competitiveness and Growth Potential."
