WESTERN MARYLAND, MD - Senator Angela Alsobrooks (D-Md.) spent the day in Western Maryland. She began her day at Frostburg State University meeting with students. She then stopped by the Greater Cumberland Committee Membership Luncheon. She stopped for lunch at Princess Restaurant in Frostburg - which has been owned and operated by the same family for four generations. Next, she toured Western Maryland Works and participated in a Workforce Roundtable with Allegany and Garrett County industry leaders. She ended the day meeting with labor leaders at UA Local 486 Plumbers & Steamfitters.
"I will continue to fight to bring economic opportunity to Western Maryland to ensure our friends and neighbors can continue to prosper. From small business owners to union workers to young students, I had the opportunity to hear directly from so many. Even in the face of the uncertainty and chaos this Administration has unleashed, I will continue to push for lowering costs, bringing jobs to the region, and creating opportunities for Marylanders to not just get by but to thrive," Senator Alsobrooks.
