Amazon Leo mission updates: Amazon Leo completes ninth mission, two more on deck
United Launch Alliance (ULA) successfully deployed another batch of Amazon Leo satellites into low Earth orbit at 1:46 a.m. EDT on April 4. Named LA-05 (Leo Atlas 5) for Amazon's fifth launch on ULA's Atlas V rocket, the mission deployed 29 satellites-the largest Amazon Leo payload ever flown on Atlas V-bringing the total number of spacecraft deployed to 241. The increase from our previous 27-satellite Atlas V configuration reflects joint engineering work with ULA to safely fit more satellites on each launch, helping us continue to accelerate deployment as we scale the constellation.
