Regulatory Commission of Alaska: Notice of Utility Tariff Filing (HEA)
NOTICE OF UTILITY TARIFF FILING
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Homer Electric Association, Inc. (HEA), filed TA488-32, requesting approval of tariff provisions for its Community Energy Program (CEP). HEA's proposed tariff revisions include the terms, conditions, and fees for the interconnection of community energy facilities to HEA's distribution system, the procedures for consumers to enroll in the CEP, and establishes the duties HEA will perform for the CEP. HEA proposes an application fee of $800 for facilities with a capacity of 25 kW or less and a fee of $2,100 for facilities with a capacity greater than 25 kW. Additionally, HEA proposes methodology for a monthly community energy administration fee, which will be assessed to all subscribers, and a monthly community energy facility system fee, calculated independently for each subscriber organization. HEA requests that the filing become effective 180 days after Commission approval.
