Readout from Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent’s Meeting with Mexican Secretary of Finance Edgar Amador Zamora
WASHINGTON - Yesterday, Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent met with Mexican Secretary of Finance Edgar Amador Zamora. Secretary Bessent and Secretary Zamora continued their discussions on the U.S.-Mexico Action Plan on Critical Minerals and engaged further on the outlook for the USMCA review process.
The Secretary also encouraged Minister Zamora and his Hacienda staff to continue to work closely with Treasury on combatting drug trafficking and their shared illicit finance priorities.
