NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC AND REQUEST FOR INFORMATION
LAS 35866
CONUNDRUM VENTURES LLC

Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Southcentral Regional Land Office has received an application for the following:

APPLICANT: CONUNDRUM VENTURES LLC

PROJECT NAME: LAS 35866

GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Located in the Tordrillo Mountains between Triumvirate and Dogshead Glacier, approx. five miles southeast from Strandline Lake.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: SE1/4SW1/4 Section 30, Township 16 North, Range 15 West, Seward Meridian

REQUESTED ACTIVITY: Applicant Conundrum Ventures LLC is requesting a land use permit for the temporary establishment of a camp in support of commercial filming over a two to four week period between March and April 2026. The camp would consist of up to (8) mountaineering style tents and would include the storage of up to 110 gallons of gasoline with secondary containment, along with the use of four snow machines.

PROPOSED DATES OF USE:
Start: March 2026
End: April 2026

DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: March 11, 2026

The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity. To ensure consideration, written or emailed comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water, Southcentral Regional Land Office, 550 W. 7th Ave., Suite 900C, Anchorage, AK 99501-3577 or to [email protected] on or before 5:00 PM on the date noted above.
