Meeting between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Rwanda

On February 24, in Geneva, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Olivier J.P. Nduhungirehe, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Rwanda.

During the meeting, the interlocutors emphasized the importance of the continuous development of the Armenia-Rwanda political dialogue, including through the implementation of signed bilateral documents and political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs.

Ararat Mirzoyan and Olivier J.P. Nduhungirehe discussed opportunities to expand bilateral cooperation between Armenia and Rwanda in areas of mutual interest, such as education, healthcare and high technologies.

In the context of cooperation within multilateral platforms, the potential of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF) and the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17) were highlighted.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on efforts aimed at consolidating peace.
