Small-Format Waukesha Healthcare Facility to Discontinue Services

Following a thorough evaluation of the utilization of services and resources at the micro-hospital located at 2325 Fox Run Blvd. in Waukesha, joint venture partners Emerus Holdings and Ascension Wisconsin have decided to discontinue operations and services at this facility, effective Jan. 13, 2025.

Staffed and managed by Emerus, the small-format facility primarily provides emergency department and low-acuity care services.

There are five alternative emergency departments within 15 miles of this facility:

• ProHealth Waukesha Memorial Emergency Department (2.4) miles
• Froedtert Community Hospital- Pewaukee (8.4) miles
• Ascension Elmbrook Emergency Department (9.1) miles
• Froedtert Community Hospital- New Berlin (10.6) miles
• Aurora Medical Summit Emergency Department (15.0) miles

Both parties are working with the site's associates to identify opportunities for transitioning to open positions at other area facilities. This transition will not impact services provided at other Emerus-Ascension Wisconsin joint venture facilities in Menomonee Falls and Greenfield.
