The Ohio School Design Manual serves as the statewide guide for designing effective, efficient, and future-ready school facilities. Updated annually, it defines the spaces, systems, and standards required for state-funded classroom construction.
For the 2026 edition, the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission invites feedback from our industry partners and stakeholders. Your insights are essential to shaping a manual that supports high-quality learning environments across Ohio.
Public comment period is now open through Jan. 23, 2026.
