Busy season of spring concerts at Southeastern on tap

The Southeastern Oklahoma State University Department of Performing Arts' music division is pleased to announce its upcoming spring concerts, which will highlight the talents of the Southeastern students and faculty.

The late spring has traditionally been a perfect time for music aficionados to take in the talents of the Southeastern music department in multiple disciplines.

All Southeastern music department performances are free of charge.

Spring concerts are:

• Thursday, April 16 - Percussion Ensemble - 7:30 p.m. - Fine Arts Recital Hall
• Sunday, April 19 - University Band - 4 p.m. - Montgomery Auditorium
• Tuesday, April 21 - Symphonic Winds Ensemble - 7:30 p.m. - Montgomery Auditorium
• Thursday, April 23 - Southeastern Chorale - 7 p.m. - First United Methodist Church in Sherman, Texas (combined performance with Sherman High School Varsity Mixed Chorus)
• Saturday, April 25 - Texoma Piano Competition - Fine Arts Recital Hall
• Tuesday, April 28 - Southeastern Choirs (Southeastern Choral Union and Southeastern Chorale) - 7:30 p.m. - First Baptist Church, Durant
