Yard waste will not be collected Monday, March 16, due to winter storm

Iowa City Resource Management will not be collecting yard waste on Monday, March 16, 2026, due to winter weather conditions.

Customers on Monday's route may place their yardwaste carts at the curb by 7 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, for collection. If possible, curbside customers are encouraged to wait until next week to set out yard waste in order to help manage collection capacity.
