Virtual private network client upgrade coming Oct. 28
On Tuesday, Oct. 28, the Office of Information Technology will upgrade the GlobalProtect VPN client.
The first time a user connects to the VPN on or after October. 28, the GlobalProtect software will automatically upgrade. During the upgrade, users may notice windows pop up momentarily and then close. Depending on the connection, the software may take several minutes to install.
Once the new version is installed on the computer and the user reconnects to the VPN, the user will need to enter their email address again to login. After that, GlobalProtect will remember the email address.
