Pitt will close May 25 in observance of Memorial Day

The University of Pittsburgh will be closed on Monday, May 25, in observance of Memorial Day.

Many faculty and staff will be off for this paid federal holiday. Here's what you need to know about closures across campus:

Transit: Soldiers and Sailors lot will be closed for the holiday. Pitt campus shuttles - including routes 10A, 20A, 30C and SafeRider - will not run. Summer schedule services will return May 26.

Health: Student Health Services, including the Counseling Center and University Pharmacy, are closed for all University holidays. They will reopen at 9 a.m. on May 26.

Dining: See Pitt Eats' hours of operation.

Panther Central: The Panther Central office will close at 11 p.m. on Sunday, May 24, and reopen at 11 p.m. on Monday, May 25. During this time, Panther Central staff can be reached by phone at 412-648-1100 or by chat on the Panther Central website.
