UPDATE: Arrest Made in Attempted Abduction at Holmes Run Dog Park

Alexandria, VA- The Alexandria Police Department has made an arrest in an attempted abduction at Holmes Run Dog Park. Rohid Hakimi, a 21-year-old non-city resident, has been charged with attempted abduction with intent to defile and sexual battery.

At approximately 6 p.m. on October 29, 2024, the victim was grabbed from behind and fought off the attacker, who then ran from the scene.

Hakimi was arrested, Thursday, November 14, 2024.
