District 3 Special Election Information
The Special Municipal Election for City Council District 3 will take place on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. Qualifying officially closed as of 5:00 p.m. on February 17, 2026. The following candidates have filed qualifying paperwork:

ABSENTEE VOTING INFORMATION:
Absentee Voting will begin on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. in the City Clerk's Office in person or by mail.
• Citizens are required to complete an absentee ballot application prior to being issued a ballot.
• Absentee ballot applications can be obtained from the city clerk's office, via mail, or printed from the City of Tuscaloosa Elections website.
