The first 12 buildings will receive funding under the SvitloDIM program through Oschadbank

Oschadbank has begun financing the first projects under the government's SvitloDIM support program. Based on the results of the first decisions of the relevant commission, financial assistance has been approved for 12 buildings in Kyiv and the Kyiv region. All funds under these decisions will be transferred to applicants through Oschadbank as the program operator.

The total amount of funding is UAH 3.3 million. The funds will be credited to the applicants' accounts within 48 hours. With these funds, co-owners of apartment buildings will be able to purchase autonomous power sources-generators, batteries, inverters, storage systems, and solar panels-to ensure the uninterrupted operation of critical building infrastructure during power outages.

"We see high demand from communities for quick and practical solutions to improve the energy sustainability of residential buildings. As part of the SvitloDIM program, Oschadbank, as the operating bank, is providing financing for the first 12 projects so that residents can get autonomous power supply for water, heat, lighting, and elevators as soon as possible. It is fundamentally important for us to ensure that all procedures are efficient and convenient for applicants," said Natalia Butkova-Vitvitska, member of the Oschadbank Management Board responsible for MSMEs.

The SvitloDIM program provides financial assistance to co-owners of apartment buildings in the amount of UAH 100,000 to UAH 300,000 for the purchase of autonomous power sources and is implemented with the participation of partner banks.
