Get broken items fixed for free during Repair Café OC event June 27

The public can bring broken items to fix on the spot with the help of volunteers during the next Repair Cafe OC event from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm on Saturday, June 27 at the Norman P. Murray Center, 24932 Veterans Way.

This initiative promotes repair as an alternative to tossing things away. Bring your broken lamps, bikes with a wobble or jeans with a hole - and repair volunteers will help you fix them.

Volunteers are sought from 8 am to 1 pm and can sign up at this link.

Neighbors with items in need of repair don't need to pre-register. All items are repaired on a walk-in basis, with last item accepted at noon. The event takes place in the community center's Palo Verde room.

See the FAQs page to understand the repair process. For more information, contact [email protected] or visit the Repair Cafe OC Facebook page.
