Cutting Business Energy Costs: The case for action

Energy UK and the CBI have jointly issued a call for urgent government action to reduce persistently high business energy costs, warning that the UK's international competitiveness and economic growth ambitions are at risk.

The report sets out the impact on the competitiveness of British businesses as a result of some of the highest energy costs among developed economies, and calls for a robust and long-term national strategy that sets a clear path robust national strategy to cut business energy costs.
