U.S., Arizona Flags to Return to Full-Staff Following Pope Francis’ Interment

Phoenix (April 24, 2025) - As of sunset on April 26, flags should immediately return to full-staff following the half-staff orders issued by Governor Katie Hobbs and President Donald Trump earlier in the week.

Flags were ordered to half-staff to honor the life and legacy of Pope Francis from April 21 through sunset on the day of his interment. Pope Francis will be entombed on April 26 at the Basilica of St. Mary Major in Rome.
