Nightly lane and ramp closures on EB and WB I-470 in Lee's Summit for bridge maintenance work

REVISED: Oct. 1-2, Oct. 6-8

REVISED: JACKSON COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting various nightly lane and ramp closures on eastbound and westbound I-470 in Lee's Summit for bridge maintenance work. All work is weather permitting. See below for traffic modifications.

Wed., Oct. 1 at 9 p.m. until Thurs., Oct. 2 at 5 a.m.

Mon., Oct. 6 at 9.m. until Tues., Oct 7 at 5 a.m.

  • Crews will CLOSE the on ramps on I-470 eastbound from Pryor Road and Missouri Route 350.
  • Crews will conduct double lane closures on eastbound I-470 from MO 350 to Main St.

Addition: Tues., Oct. 7 at 9 p.m. until Wed., Oct. 8 at 5 a.m.

  • Crews will conduct double lane closures on westbound I-470 from Main St. to MO 350.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
