SEC participates in seminar “Navigating the Digital Asset Landscape: Development and Supervision of Digital Assets in the Region” in Phnom Penh

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), represented by Ms. Butree Vangsirirungruang, Director of the Digital Financial Innovation Department, participated as a panelist in the seminar titled "Navigating the Digital Asset Landscape: Development and Supervision of Digital Assets in the Region." The event was organized by the Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia (SERC) in collaboration with the Asian Development Bank (ADB). During the discussions, Ms. Butree highlighted the SEC's roles as a regulator with internationally benchmarked frameworks for overseeing and developing digital assets. She also shared insights and experiences in fostering regional collaboration among regulatory entities to enhance the effectiveness of digital asset oversight. The seminar took place on 10 December 2024, in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
