Deputy Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs leads a delegation of diplomatic corps and media to visit Songkhla as part of the "Songkhla: Enhancing Better Understanding and Fostering Cooperation"

On 29 September - 1 October 2025, Ms. Sirilak Niyom, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs led a delegation of the diplomatic corps and representatives of Thai and foreign media on a visit to Songkhla province as part of the "Songkhla: Enhancing Better Understanding and Fostering Cooperation" initiative, organized by the Office of the National Security Council in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On this occasion, the delegation visited key organizations and private sectors in the province, including Sadao Customs House, Chana Power Plant, Sri Trang Gloves Thailand, as well as attended "Songkhla Business Night" organized by the Songkhla Chamber of Commerce.

Additionally, the delegation also visited the Prince of Songkla University (PSU) and received a briefing on the university's international cooperation initiatives and toured Sonklanagarind Vejchavivat Hospital and PSU Science Park, which provided opportunities for the delegation to further explore future collaborations with the university, particularly in the areas of research and medical treatment, as well as understand its readiness to welcome more international students and academic cooperation.
