US-12 open to one-lane traffic near Greer during fire operations
GREER - U.S. Highway 12 near Greer reopened to one-lane alternating traffic with a pilot car as crews continue responding to wildfire activity in the area.
Pilot car operations are in place just west of the Greer grade for three miles. Travelers should expect delays and follow directions from traffic control crews.
Fire operations remain active in the area, and travel conditions may change as the response continues. Motorists should slow down and watch for firefighters, emergency personnel and equipment entering and exiting the highway.
Travelers are encouraged to check Idaho 511 for the latest road conditions before traveling.
