Grove, Phillips-Hill Mourn Loss of Officers

Sep. 18, 2025

YORK - Sen. Kristin Phillips-Hill (R-York) and Rep. Seth Grove (R-Dover) issued the following statement in response to the deaths of three police officers during an incident in North Codorus Township that also led to the injury of a two additional officers:

"Yesterday morning, three police officers walked out of the doors of their homes for work. Most unfortunately, they did not return home to their families.

"We ask the public to join us in keeping the families of the three slain officers in our prayers, and to also pray for the speedy recovery of the injured officers, the community and the law enforcement community.

"Today's act of violence is unacceptable and has no place in our society. There has been a sharp increase in violent acts being committed in our communities. We must move beyond these senseless acts that have far-reaching impacts."
