George Bush Bascule Bridge Closure

The George Bush Bascule Bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway will be closed from 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2025, to 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2025, for essential maintenance and repair to the bridge house, machinery, and associated bridge span gear indexing. During this 7-day closure, both vehicle and pedestrian traffic will be redirected. Drivers should use the Atlantic Avenue Bridge via Federal Highway and Ocean Boulevard for detour routes. Engineering and Public Works appreciates the community's patience and understanding during this temporary closure. We are committed to enhancing the safety and efficiency of the County's infrastructure.
