Traffic Delays for Repairs to Suey Creek Road

Nipomo - Motorists may experience traffic delays of up to 30 minutes as the County of San Luis Obispo Department of Public Works repairs areas of Suey Creek Rd damaged in the 2023 and 2024 storms. During this work, heavy trucks will be hauling material along the route and there will be crane operations near the project sites, located approximately 1.6 miles north of the HWY 166 intersection.

Construction activities and traffic delays are scheduled on weekdays between 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., from September 14th through October 30th, 2026.

This work is part of the County's ongoing storm recovery program and another way that Public Works is preparing for anticipated storms during the upcoming El NiƱo storm season.
