Department of Languages Open House
The Department of Languages presents 'A celebration of language education: why are languages important and what career paths do they lead to?' on Friday, Sept. 27.
The event will feature short presentations on the department's programs, informational sessions by UAA students, alumni and faculty, language activities and games for students, free language books, and much more.
Anchorage School District students, parents and teachers and UAA instructors and students are invited. The event and parking are free. Pizza will be served.
The event will include an open mic and participants will be able to talk about their own language experience.
ASL Interpretation will be provided.
