Alameda County - Caltrans will temporarily close the northbound I-680 connector to eastbound SR-84 during nighttime hours from Tuesday, January 7, 2025, through Friday, January 10, 2025, for work on the overpass.
Closure Details
Dates: January 7-10, 2025
Times: 12:00 AM (midnight) to 7:00 AM nightly
During these hours, the connector will be fully closed to traffic. Motorists should plan ahead and use alternate routes. Detours signs will be set in place.
This temporary closure is necessary to facilitate the safe and efficient construction of the flyover(overpass), a key infrastructure improvement project that will enhance traffic flow and safety in the area.
To ensure the safety of workers and motorists, Caltrans will need to close the connector to safely complete the work. Work is weather and schedule permitting.
Be Work Zone Alert and expect travel delays.
