Join SVSU at Dow Diamond for a night of cardinal spirit
Saginaw Valley State University will bring Cardinal spirit to the ballpark this fall with a community event at Dow Diamond. On Tuesday, Sept. 23, the SVSU Cardinals varsity baseball team will face Northwood University in an exhibition game at the Midland stadium.
Admission is free, and the evening will include entertainment for fans of all ages. Chris Fowler, SVSU's new men's basketball coach, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch at 6 p.m.
Throughout the night, guests can enjoy activities and performances. The SVSU choir will sing the national anthem, and STEM@SVSU is planning interactive robotics activities for kids, and young fans will be invited to run the bases after the game. Concessions will be available during the game.
