Christmas at the Mansions, rescheduled for December 27, 2025

Note: This event was originally scheduled for Saturday, December 13, 2025, but was canceled due to inclement weather. It is rescheduled for Saturday, December 27, 2025. If you purchased tickets for the original date, those are still valid for admission to the event.

Christmas at the Mansions is a holiday tour of two of Bloomington-Normal's favorite historic sites - David Davis Mansion and Ewing Manor…and in 2025, we are also welcoming Broadview Mansion to the event as our Bonus Home!

For this self-driving event, you'll see these gorgeous homes decorated in period Christmas finery. Take in the architecture, the historic holiday postcard settings and hosts dressed in period costumes as you walk back in time to the late 1800s and early 1900s. Music and other surprises will complement your tour.

The David Davis Mansion State Historic Site, Ewing Manor, and Broadview Mansion are located within easy driving distance of each other in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois, and you may visit them in whichever order you choose for this tour.

Free parking is available:

• On the grounds of David Davis Mansion State Historic Site at 1000 Monroe Drive, Bloomington, IL
• Across the street from Ewing Manor in the parking lot of St. John's Lutheran Church at 1617 E. Emerson Street, Bloomington, IL
• In the neighborhood surrounding Broadview Mansion, including both sides of Highland Avenue (next to the mansion), as well as in Illinois Wesleyan University's East parking lot, which is 2 blocks to the south

Event proceeds benefit the Preservation and Educational programs of the David Davis Mansion State Historic Site and Ewing Manor. Both are supported by 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organizations.
