One-Way Traffic Control Next Week

Amador County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have traffic controls in place to perform construction and maintenance activities on State Routes 49 (SR-49) and 88 in Amador County next week.

State Route 49

  • One-way traffic control takes place from Beacon Gas Station to Vogan Toll Road for survey work beginning Sunday, May 10, 2026, through Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • One-way traffic control takes place from Main Street/Plymouth Shenandoah Road to Bell Road for tree work on Monday, May 11, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

State Route 88

  • One-way traffic control takes place from Irishtown Road/Clinton Road to Ranch Drive/Homestead Road for tree work beginning Tuesday, May 12, 2026, through Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control takes place from Hilltop Street to Mt. Zion Road for tree work on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
