Healthcare and military executive brings extensive experience in clinical leadership, governance and organizational strategy to Remission Medical's Advisory Consultant Program

RICHMOND, Va., September 4, 2026 - Remission Medical today announced that Dr. Peter M. Tan has joined its Advisory Consultant Program as a Senior Advisor, bringing decades of experience across healthcare leadership, clinical operations, governance, military medicine and organizational strategy.

Tan joins a growing group of experienced healthcare leaders and subject matter experts providing strategic perspective and counsel as Remission Medical expands its partnerships with health systems and specialty practices nationwide.

Tan is a board-certified surgeon, healthcare and military executive, board director and educator with extensive experience across clinical care, healthcare leadership, military medicine, hospital governance and national professional organizations. Throughout his career, he has advised senior healthcare and military leaders, executive teams, boards and government officials, with areas of expertise including organizational strategy, leadership development, stakeholder engagement, governance, patient safety and academic mentorship.

Tan currently serves as President and CEO of TANARM, LLC, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital. He previously served as Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army for Florida's Tampa Bay region and has worked extensively across civilian and military healthcare environments.
